The “Slaviani” Foundation is co-founder of SRTA
On February 22nd and 23rd, 2016, in Shenzhen, China, an important “Belt and Road” city, the China Center for Contemporary World Studies, the Shenzhen Municipal Government and Fudan University hosted jointly the first Silk Road Dialogue. Nearly 90 representatives of more than 70 think tanks from 54 countries participated.
The “Slaviani” Foundation, represented by its President Prof. Dr. Zahari Zahariev, took an active part in this international forum.
In the course of the conference the Silk Road Think Tank Association (SRTA) was founded. According to the approved documents the SRTA members are entitled to:
i. Participate in the meetings of SRTA;
ii. Make proposals regarding Belt and Road activities and researches;
iii. Participate in the international exchanges organized by SRTA;
iv. Recommend new partners for SRTA,
Exercise other rights in keeping with the concept of SRTA
The conference participants and representatives of SRTA member think tanks, voted and unanimously adopted “The Shenzhen Declaration”
